Choosing the right Buenos Aires accommodation is as important as choosing the best TEFL school in Buenos Aires. Íbero TEFL offers different options to meet the needs of all of our students. Some students prefer the comfort and security of a homestay in Buenos Aires, while others like the adventure of being on their own. Íbero TEFL offers three choices for accommodation in Buenos Aires: Homestay, Shared Apartment, and Private Apartments. We work closely with Argentines of all different ages, lifestyles, and family dynamics, who rent room(s) in their homes to our students. You are not only spared the stress of finding a comfortable place to stay, you also get the chance to live with locals and practice the Spanish you will be learning in class. Most students begin the first 2 or 3 months in a Homestay or Shared Apartment, then move to an apartment with their friends from school. Please take into account the minimum stay is 28 nights and you must confirm your flight details with us in order to start booking your program.
Íbero´s founders, as directors of a creative learning environment, have found that a fundamental part of Spanish immersion in Buenos Aires is the homestay. Sharing a home with an Argentinian family will allow you to improve your Spanish faster and is the most effective way to become fully immersed into the Spanish language and culture of Argentina.

Some homes are single standing homes, apartments or multifamily homes. Buenos Aires is a very multi-cultural city and a lot of people are from different countries originally. All our host families live near the school (some walking distance, and others with a maximum of 15 minutes by public transportation). Our Accommodations Coordinator is available to assist students with all of their questions or concerns regarding any Íbero accommodation. All students receive an orientation package that explains accommodation information, rules, and expectations.
As it is a very pleasant experience, our ex-students have created lasting friendships with their Buenos Aires family members. Our host families are diverse but we always make an effort to match students to a host family with common interests. If you have any special requirements or preference, we ask that you inform us before you arrive in Buenos Aires, at the time of booking. Let us know if you have allergies or prefer not to live with children or pets.
